i know i tend to bulk up my updates and release a whole bunch of clusterfuckpictures at the same time. and i know how awful having ones inbox flooded might be sometimes. but, there is (sort of) a method to this approach. i feel that the pictures i upload to this specific account aren't meant to be viewed alone one by one. i feel they simply don't work all that well by themselves (sometimes). they need the context of their fellow pictures. taken minutes, hours and days apart, they somehow congeal into a steady free form mold of ideas and connections (or at least i feel so). also, i feel relieved by this whole not having to give a specific name or title to each little bit of photography i upload (this account is much more loose and free when compared to that of ~ikhon(oclasm) which i feel has somehow stagnated quite a bit).

TUMBLR has me all mesmerized these days. waking up each morning there are about 300 (+/-) new uploads for me to sift through and marvel at the occasional discovery of something brilliant, beautiful or just plain GOOD. my own account is located here: IKHONOCLASM.tumblr.com. very much alive and kicking. updated with everyday photographs by me, and sometimes updated with interesting things i find from other people (every picture is by me, unless there is a piece of text beneath it stating otherwise).

i bought an AGFA OPTIMA electronic the other day. ten bucks at a local thrift store. can't seem to get to load film properly though. and what the hell is up with the prices of film these days? i must have missed out on something huge, because one roll of fujicolor superia (the only brand available i might add) set me back like $15.


in other news. i need to buy a huge ass mirror (glass only) and some miniature silver elks. peace out!
